  We call him "One Time", which is all it takes to fall head over heels in love with this horse! "One Time is the epitome of the All Around Horse. Although he has his ROM in Halter, and was High Point Stallion for the State of Montana for three years, and is absolutely gorgeous, he is also an incredible athlete. As a 5 year old, in his riding debut, One Time won the Versatility Horse Championship for the Powder River Quarter Horse Association competition which consisted of Halter, Western Pleasure, Reining, Trail, and Single Cow Penning Classes. He won a saddle, among other awards for this prestigious distinction. This proves just how versatile he is as an all around horse himself. His first colt crop won over $5,000 in halter futurity monies the first year! He gives his colts balance, trainability and beauty, along with a winning pedigree. He is an own son of the great Scotch Bar Time, the only sire in history to be on every leading sire list at the same time. His Dam, Centennial Sissy is a multiple point producing broodmare, and is an own Daughter of Mr. Showdown Sugar, by Sugar Bars.   "Montana" could arguably be the best cutting horse bred, owned and shown in Montana. His LTE in NCHA shows a total of $19,962.47. He earned his ROM in 1986, went on to his superior in Cutting in 1988, finishing his career with a total of 71.5 AQHA cutting points. In addition, he showed in two reining classes, winning them both and collecting two points there for a total of 73.5 AQHA points. His crowning achievement has to be winning Reserve World Champion Cutter at the 1987 World show. He was second by 1/2 point. Although he has excelled in the show ring, we at the Bar M strongly believe his greatest achievement is his siring ability. Some stallions stamp their colts with pretty heads or cute little ears or pretty color. Montana seems to stamp every colt with a huge brain and super trainable disposition. Every one of the colts we have worked has been a joy to handle.  We selected Montana as the stallion to go back on our daughters of Scotch Bar Time because he produces such willing colts. With that attitude crossed with the superb conformation and athletic ability of the Scotch Bar Time mares, we knew they could all be winners. And very importantly, he is a direct grandson of SUGAR BARS, which is the key to our entire breeding program. MONTANA LYNX is truly the most underused World Champion stallion in the Northwest.   "Lena" is a beautiful chestnut roan that has the pedigree to dream about, with Doc Bar through Docs Lynx, Docs Chico Girl and Doc O'Lena. He is a double bred Peppy San and of course, a direct grandson of the great Smart Little Lena. His maternal grandmother was the super producing daughter of Sugar Bars, Miss Montana Sugar. Although Lena has never been to the show ring, he is as broke as a horse can be and is a true experience to get on. Not many people get to ride a horse like Lena. With his color and beautiful conformation, we have bred him to several of our mares with high expectations. We think you will love this horse.
